    Default Drop in Inquiries

I was just wondering if anyone has seen a major decline in their sales inquiry in March.

I know that for my website, it was steadily declining but all of a sudden in march, my inquiry rate has droped by about 67%?

Is this normal for this time of the year? Or is it just the economy?

I would imagine different results for different areas but from my site I have seen a dramatic "increase" during March / April for homes under $100,000 in Minneapolis area but not for other homes, just the lower end and 1st time buyers which is hot right now. December - end of Jan was relatively slow... Sold one Sat off my on-site blog:-)

I would assume that Costa Rica real estate is not seasonal like other places, so that's weird. How has it been over the years?

I personally have seen things pick up dramatically in the last 3 weeks. Our office has dozens of deals on the books since the first of the month with 7 added just yesterday. Pretty impressive month so far!

We have seen a steady decline in inquiries inthe past 9 months but nothing so dramatic.

I am glad that inquiries are picking up in the US. In Costa Rica it usually takes a few months before any economic impacts hits us.

Hopefully that is a sign that the market will pick up again.

Right now, real estate prices are really dropping.

At the beach for example several properties that were price in the $150,000 to $200,000 range back in December are now being bought for $100,000 to $165,000.

Hopefully that information will get in the news and people will start buying again.

My site is newer but seems to be doing well over the last month. Is your traffic the same or lower?
