Default Birds Eye View / Street View

For those that have this on their site, how do you like it and what type of increase in conversion or usage have you seen from it if any? I have had a few buyers tell me lately they have used it on "other sites:-)" and really like it. I am considering having REW do it for me but wanted to see some thoughts on those using it now and if you could provide a link to your page, thanks ahead of time.

You would have to completely change the mapping API right? I think only Microsoft maps include the bird-eye view.

I agree though - it is pretty nice to peek in a diagonal view. Sometimes you get a much better look at a house than with top-down only.

Best view I have seen right now. I always show my clients how to search this when I sit down with them for the first time.

They love it, and appreciate that I "teach" them things online.

Derrick - I see that you had Bird's Eye View installed http://www.derrickmonroe.com/idx/lis.../birdseye.html - looks great. Your visitors are probably enjoying the perspective when looking at Listing Details pages.

No Google Streetview installed.... doesn't seem that it is available in your area yet. Watch for the vans driving by and then give us a ring!

We have this feature but it shows houses that are about 4 houses away from the correct house. Do you know why that is? I noticed it on both street view and birds eye. ??

Hi Donna -- your request isn't suited for this thread or forum and should be posted in the Support forums.

    Please post here instead: http://www.realestatewebmasters.com/rew-idx.html

Don't forget to include an MLS# so that Support has something to reference when investigating the issue.

I can answer it for you anyways - We use the Google Enhanced API for "Geo-coding" (getting lat and long) using the address field, and Google does not always have 100% accuracy (in fact they rate their own accuracy between 1-10 with 10 being perfect which is rare) - basically it boils down to an imperfect third party technology.

Thank you for the clarification. I really like the birds eye view but I worry about clients not knowing they are looking at the wrong house. It is still a great tool for getting a feel for the street/neighborhood.
