Bad to post blog entries to eZine?

Hello,

I am just wondering if it is bad to copy and paste some of your blog entries to eZine articles? Is it bad for SEO to have duplicate content. It's not every blog post that I am doing this for it's only posts that have statistics about the local real estate market. Thanks in advance!

No, it is not bad. But I would probably do things the other way around.

Instead of posting blog content and then pasting it to ezine articles...write a great article, submit it..and then paste maybe the first paragraph of that content to your blog with a link to your article for blog viewers to read more.

If you have subscribers to your blog, that is a good way to keep them updated and also drive traffic to your ezine articles link.

I went to an SEO meet up recently and one of the speakers talked about this.

He said post to your blog first. Then change up the wording a bit and submit to the article sites. He's been doing this for years.

I've heard another angle where you create a few different articles on the same subject. Post one to your blog, one to enzine and one to a free blogspot. Bookmark them all and link the blogspot to both your blogpost and enzine. The enzine to the blogpost and the blogspot.
