Agreed. After 30-45 days and somewhere between 50-100 back links, you can start posting stuff more aggressively, like on these forums or other blogs, etc.

If you go from Zero to Hero too fast, Google will think there's something fishy going on.

hmm, you should consider doing directory submissions as well.
they are cheap and will surely build some links towards your website over time.

I have seen good results with them and other members will share their experience as well.

You want to have many different variations of anchor text. Do not always use the same words. Different variations give more of a natural look and will help you better in the SERPS.

Don't spam your title tags, don't abuse the H1 header, and put a good description don't have them all exactly the same.

I noticed a couple of posts saying don't get too many links to fast. There is some controversy if weather that really hurts you. After all, if you post a blog post that goes viral you will get lots of links fast and naturally, google would look very positively on that.

-> If you do not want to have a successful site:
    1. Do not add your url to your business cards, flyers, signs etc.
    2. Do not track your business calls
    3. Do not track how your customers found you

    Best of luck

Don’t fall for any sales pitch from an SEO company that says they’ll post your site link on 10,000 websites. That will kill any chances of your site ranking well. Stay away from link farms.

Once you are starting to move up in the SERPS don’t play around with your title tag. Doing so can make you loose your ground and cause you to drop down in rankings. Get your title tag just the way you want it…optimized for your keywords and then leave it alone.
