    Hi James,

What exactly do you want from the google maps api on your home page? ... I see you do not have an REW IDX so we couldn't put any type of map search on the home page ... What will the map display?

I would be manually uploading properties to be displayed on the map. Would this work?

Sure that would work - However - I recommend that you do not put the map itself on the home page.

I'd go for a graphic that links to the map search. So the home page is not slowed down because of the map search.

About 5hrs programming will cover a map search for the manually entered listings. Then a Graphic I think is about 2hrs design .... Design can confirm that estimate.

    Thank you,

Why would it be slower on the homepage? I have seen several sites i.e. www.houston1apartments.com where it seems to function fine.
    Thanks!

It would work - however - why not have the map on a full page? I just think that putting a map on the home page of your site wouldn't be the best idea. But - it's your call.

The 5hrs programming estimated will cover placing the map on the home page...
