Boy they like Digg

I have left my site untouched for a couple of months, and my site has suffered as a result. I started taking baby steps to see the impact of each move. One thing I noted for sure is that MSN really loves Digg. I went from nowhere to page 4 on MSN for Scottsdale Foreclosures with just one submission.

Not currently. I was only excited because this is the first time MSN has responded to anything I've done.

I couldn't tell you the last time I even checked MSN - well, really for anything.

I have noticed that all of the search engines like Digg. Especially if it is a low to moderate competition keyword. For instance I had a post about Kingwood homes for sale with private pools posted and now my site and the Digg post are number one and two for that long tail keyword. I get regular traffic from it.

I don't go out of my way to check MSN. I use rankchecker from seobook.com. You should check it out some time if you are trying to track how your site does for certain keywords.

No traffic yet, but the experiment is ongoing.

Oh yeah, still nothing from yahoo or google for that same keyword. It is a very competitive keyword, though.
