Digital Picture Software?

I have a dell computer and a camera that has the small blue chip that you put inside the computer and the camera. The problem is, when I put the pictures in my computer, they are uploaded but when I try to email them they take FOREVER to email because they are each around 3 Megabytes.

Do you guys have a software that works well for you regarding pictures that will save me time when I am uploading them and emailing them to other clients?

Why not just resize the pictures after you upload them, before you email them? You can use any number of programs, I use Photoshop.

Does your camera allow you to change the settings for the image size?

It does. I use a Nikon D40x DSLR. But even with that I still need to adjust sizes for different uses and that is were photoshop comes in.

Picasa is great, the integration with G!'s photo is very easy to use.

If you are looking for a quick and easy way to re-size photos, check out Microsoft's Image Resizer. Very powerful, simply right click on a photo and choose what size you want it.

I have a simple and east to use option. PAINT! it is on every windows PC and easily allows you to "stretch\skew" pictures to the optimal size for anything and the picture processing keeps the quality.
