What I've learned in 300 posts

Since this post marks my 301st post.
I wanted to celebrate my first 300 post by reflecting on what I have learned from the members of this forum. I want to take the time to thank everyone for making this such a special site full of knowledge and helpful people.And a special thank you goes out to Morgan and the amazing team at REW for providing this platforum and excellent services to the real estate community nationwide. My only wish is that real world could be like the REW forum.

In the 300 posts I've learned

1. Expiring domain auctions - I used this knowledge to purchase http://www.swiftmortgage.com and within 1 month it has page 1 ranking for its keywords.

2. 301 redirects - I have yet to use this, but plan to in the near future.

3. Proper Back linking methods- too numerous to mention. I've used this knowledge to build more backlinks, do interal linking, etc.

4. converting leads

5. Making custom forms- I am working on creating a 1003 loan application

6. Various CMS platforms like Joolma

7. How helpful and friendly real estate agents can be.

The results of being here for me has been an increase in over all page ranking. I currently have 3 sites on page 1 in Google which gets about 100 leads per day total.

As the internet changes, I am thankful that we have a place like REW to share our ideas and help one another succeed.

Just had a quick look at your site you have spelt offering with 3 f`s in the header also why dont you break the text up into paragraph`s to make easier reading for the user instead of one messy block? Also Jacsonville should have a capital J in header right?

I'd run a two month test. See if you get more leads by taking down that adsense at the top. I personally would not give a website my contact info if they were displaying adsense ads. It just screams spamming to me.

This is very interesting. Do you really think adsense contributes negatively to conversion? Would love to hear more opinion on this.

I have friends that didn't trust a site with any ads on them as a resource. For that reason, I wouldn't have adsense.

That line between forum post and blog post gets tricky sometimes. Congrats Ann - took me forever to get to 300 but I was an active listener for a long time before I became an active poster.
