Just read about this new search engine that's supposed to overtake Google (in 2-5 years), and thought I'd share. I know we hear about new search engines all the time, but this one does seem very interesting:

Was playing around with this search engine earlier today and it was pretty boring and didn't really help me with anything. It is more Wikipedia than it is Google.

I don't like it either. It's too complicated to create a search query.

I find it very useful to find science formulas and this kind of stuff, but I don`t think it will overtake Google...Their concept is different

Overtake google? You would need an act of God to overtake google at this point. And at the rate they are growing, it's hard to believe it will happen any time soon.

This has been around for a while. It's not supposed to compete with Google. I have the display both on one page via a extension for Firefox.

Never heard of that search engine. I think it will take so much effort and time before they can overtake Google.

Never heard of it eather. Fist of all, the name is to complicated to be remembered by people.

I think Wolfram Alpha is a specialize mathematical Search Engine.

Yes, its a computational search engine.Instead of providing list of webpages for our queries, It computes answers for factual queries. Its very useful for scientific calculation.
