I got a call from netbiz . com saying they will guarantee me first page 24/7 on google (sponsored section/ppc) for a flat fee. I was wondering if any of you heard of them?

I've never heard of them, but why would you even consider using them? Anyone can guarantee first page placement using PPC--especially if you are willing to pay much more per click than anyone else.

Being able to optimize your campaign to get the most out of what your paying per click is a whole different story and it can largely be done yourself by using some relatively unsophisticated best practices.

For one or two terms, maybe. But don't count on that generating a significant number of visitors. Ask them to guarantee a certain number of visitors for your investment and see how they answer.

I never heard of them. But this is a big country. The contact page has 30 pages so on the face they seem big. But I wonder how much time they spend looking for clients in relation to working on your site?

Ive gotten calls from them. Actually two different times a couple years apart. They send you to an example webpage and try to show you what they will do for you. It doesn't seem to legit to me.

Yeah the reason it is fishy, is because if you are paying a flat fee, and they in essence are paying per click, it is in their best interest not to get clicks for you. A business arrangement like that makes no sense.

Don't listen to anyone who guarantees first page for anything, there is NO way they can guarantee that. It's out of their control, even if they use a strategy that has a 90% success rate, they can't say they guarantee a first page ranking. It sounds fishy to me if I'm going to be honest.

Yes I have used them, good for listing presentations. I didn't get a lot of traffic. Some research shows that most people skip the sponsored section.
