Can you delete comments that you post on other people's blog entries?

or do you have to contact the blog author to remove it?

Took me a while to find one of my comments on someone's blog - looks like *I* can delete my own comments, but that may be because someone at the office gave me some kind of admin status - so we'll need someone else in the community to verify this for you.

Most of the blogs that I comment on will allow you to delete or edit or comments only for 15 mins after you post them the first time. After that they are stuck unless you ask the site admin to remove them.

I haven't found any sites that I can delete or edit unless I have Admin status.

That's why I AWLAYS double check and read over what I wrote, so I don't look like an idiot.

You can delete your comment own self no need to contact the blog author.
