Sorry I've been gone for a while

Hey everyone,

Just wnated to pop in and say I haven't forgotten about the forum and miss being on here 10 times a day. A close friend of mine was recently in a serious motorcycle crash and I've been spending all my spare time trying to organize and promote a few things to help take care of his 3 small kids while we wait to see what happens. He's really one of those extremely rare individuals that everyone loves and would go to the end of the earth to help a stranger. He's in critical condition and has not regained conciousness since the accident but we're hopeful.

All good thoughts are sincerely appreciated. Here's a site I popped up about him and to use in some of the promotions. Not close to done but gettingh there.

If anyone has any fundraising advice, I'd love toi hear it.

Sorry to hear about your friend, I'll remember him in my prayers. Here are some suggestions.

You could have a huge yard sale. We held one at work over the weekend and raised over $700 just on the Saturday morning.

Ask some of the local stores to donate some good gifts and then sell tickets for people to win them. You could set a table up outside your local Walmart.

Ask the local paper to run a story about your fund raising, appealing to local people for help.

Contact any organizations or clubs that your friend belongs to and ask them to hold some sort of fund raiser.

Put a collection jar at the local stores and gas stations asking people to donate their lose change.

I wish there were more individuals like you in this world. I am sure your friend is also a great guy. I guess we all attract our own kind..

I hope he recovers soon, and I will definately pray for his recovery. I just feel terrible about his kids. GOD willing everything will turn out ok.

Hey guys, your kind words really mean a lot to me
Just got back from the hospital and he still has not regained conciousness but when they lowered his medication today, I'm told he was in severe pain and was moving his hands and feet which they said was good news. Still won't know anything until he wakes up though

Hi guys,
Just got back from another night at the hospital. No changes to report but hope springs eternal. We've gotton alot of great support for the upcoming benefit I'm hosting including 6 bands so far, live radio broadcast for an hour and 2 local mortgage comapnies I know are going to step up and sponser us for all the food and incidentals. If anyone is near the Poconos come have a great time for a great cause!
