Limit number of blog posts on homepage?

Hi,

I was wondering if someone at REW could tell me if there is a recommended amount of blog posts that should be displayed on my homepage? Is more better or does it matter?

I remember seeing a post about putting a line of code in the blog snippet which limits the amount of posts but I can't find the code again and not sure where to place it in the snippet.

My homepage is growing and growing from blog posts and wondering if this is a good or bad thing? http://www.utahskiproperties.com

Hi Jason,

I've added a different rss snippet named #blog-rss-reader#

It has a setting to control the amount of blog posts displayed.

$rss_display_limit = 5;

I've seen some sites display 100 posts on the home page. Some sites that display 1 ... personally I'd set it to 5 or 10.
