One for personal and one for business?
One for personal and one for business?
No... just one personal one. Despite all the success stories I've read, I'm not sold on using facebook as a business/marketing tool. For me it's mostly a place to keep track of old friends... but I know there are other threads where people claim to have generated sales from Facebook.

Currently I only have 1 account but I am going to set up another account for business. Like Milan says there are people that have had good success with it.

Depends on how you use facebook - you can create a page or even pages built around the business and not have to "friend" the world - keep your profile more personal and then use the page for everything else. I have pages but haven't really pushed them yet. Pages are interacting much more like profiles now - they can have status updates, etc. Also if you do a targeted ad campaign and people become fans of your page from then on, everytime you update the page it goes into their stream - there are agents who friend tons of people/clients -it works for them, not something I want for me.
I have a personal one and a Real Estate facebook because you never know what photos your rowdy friends might put up or tag!

I just have one facebook account. You can also create fan pages for your business and you can also control who sees your photos that you have been tagged in....if that is a concern.

I sell Houston homes and write at this blog dedicated to Real Estate Technology for agents. I originally created this Houston Real Estate site and switched to REW - awesome decision.
I have two accounts. One is for personal use the other is business. However I tend to use my personal account to display some business. Works out a bit.
