    Default Calling all ARMLS Realtors!

    Hi Gang,

As you may already know REW doesn't have an IDX solution for real estate agents on the ARMLS (Arizona Regional MLS) system. This appears to be due to the cost of the feed from ARMLS for non-designated brokers.

I'm hoping to put together a big enough group of agents who want the REW IDX for ARMLS so that we can make it cost effective and hopefully allow REW to make an IDX solution available for us.

If you're a Realtor using ARMLS and interested in an REW IDX reply to this thread so we can see how many of us there are.

Edited: I just realized this post might be in the wrong section, please forgive me. Moderator if you need to move this post to another section please do so.

    Thanks,

Just to provide some perspective to ARMLS users - I believe the total ARMLS fees required for agent feed access are $1500 USD per month (this has nothing to do with REW billing and is above and beyond REW fee structure)

I am certainly willing to sponsor some wicked deals on IDX purchase if we get a group together to cover these fees - and thanks for posting this Gary - I know Ryland has been tasked with putting together a contact sheet - but I have yet to see any response from it yet - perhaps we will have more luck on the forums.

Btw - for those of you who don't quite know what I mean about the fees - REW does not cover fees charged by MLS boards, we pass those costs to the subscriber (at cost we do not mark them up in any way) - so if the fees at ARMLS are $1500 and let say we had only 10 subscribing agents, each agent would have to pay an "additional" 150 USD per month for IDX access - but if we got 100 subscribers each ARMLS subscriber would only have to pay $10 per month

I'm beginning to think that there are no Phoenix, AZ area Realtors on this forum. Which could mean I'm one of the few in AZ to have discovered this incredible resource.

So come on Phoenix agents. Let's help REW get the lisitngs feed it needs from ARMLS so we can have Custom IDX, SEF listings, and all the great stuff we need to compete in today's market.

Gary I know for a fact there are many ARMLS members on this board (I probably could easily name 30 of them) - I am just not sure they are interested in the service perhaps?

Do what I did, get your broker to pay for it. If it weren't for ARMLS, I would have had a REW site ages ago.

Is your broker providing you with the feed necessary for the REW custom IDX? Designated brokers aren't charged anything.

Morgan, is this something I could do if my broker agrees?
