Tired of Fake IDX Registrations?

I added this text to my IDX IFrame and it has worked out wonderfully. In fact, people are now giving me their phone numbers!

I meant IP, I would love to be able to block IP's then have sort of an error page pop up and tells them why they are banned and they need to email me in order to have the ban removed! Haa

I get such a small percent of fake reg's but some people keep comimg back after I delete them with the same user name, they can't think of something different I guess.

I can't even block an IP addy. All I can do is delete someone's registration. But, those words on there have really helped with the fake registrations.

I wouldn't put this text on my website. This text can drive away potentially good leads. I think you should change the wording (a bit harsh) or remove the text.

By reading this text, it made me think that you're not a friendly person. I don't know you or the kind of business you're running, but first impressions are very important.

... and so what if you get a fake name? or Email? Just delete them.

Just today I had Pamela Anderson register. She didn't leave a number, but I think she will contact me eventually.

I would tune that down as well. My suggestion would be to place your requirements in your privacy/terms of use page and place a link to that where your "Fake" notice is.

Something more along the lines of "Please read our terms of use before registering".

I'll say one thing, you sure don't mess around
