    Default Domain Names & Google

I'm trying to decide on a domain name for my new REW site and need to make up my mind. I'm down to these two:

    TampaSoldToday.com
    TampaRealEstateFinder.com

Is the 2nd one better in terms of Google placement? I like the first because its a bit shorter but I think both are fairly memorable... Your opinions are appreciated.

    Flip a coin.....

I know you want to focus on sellers but majority of your traffic will be from buyers. So attract the buyers and they will know where they find their home and you can use this as a part of your listing presentation that their home will be featured on Tamparealestatefinder, the #1 source for Tampa listings.......once your REW site is rockin.

The second is far better. Most people visiting your site will be buyers I think that buyers would be more likely to click a link that says it is about finding real estate, rather than just Tampa being sold. Add to this I don't feel as though one is easier to remember than the other.

Tamparealestatefinder IMHO. I do have a short url for e-mail as I find my fingers and brain often don't agree when I type. I suspect other screw up their typing, so the shorter the better. This one does not have the duplicate rr or something like Lincolnnewhomes or Denverrealestate, where people aren't sure you will have the duplication. This one does not have the problem mine has has times, propertyinsantacruz.com, where people sometimes think it is plural( propertiesinsantacruz). You could have a simple on like LJTampa.com that redirects to the longer one. Then the e-mail is LJ@ljtampa.com. Just an idea.

Either way the name will help with recognition, but not much for getting found, that is where REW can help. You can buy several names and do 301 redirects, so you don't have to choose just one that you tell people. Buy them both.
