Google ?

Google has been pulling my website description with a date at the beginning for a couple of months now and I don't know why or how to change it. I'm assuming it's something in the code that needs to be changed by REW. This is what I'm seeing:

Apr 14, 2009 ... Atlanta Real Estate - Search all homes...

Does anyone have any ideas on what could be causing this or how to fix it?

Right, I just posted a snippet of my description. I'm only concerned with the date at the beginning. It's been there for months and want it to be gone. It's the same date for all my main page descriptions.

It's the date of your latest blog post (which is on most pages due to the RSS feed)

Perhaps Google finds it pertinent to include most recent date where available in meta data and serps to give the potential visitor some perspective - my guess would be part of the fresh content algo.

Right, I was about to same the same thing. No other REW sites with blogs and RSS feed are showing dates. Can you have Aaron or someone look into it.

Any update on what could be causing this and how to fix it?

It's obviously some glitch with just my site because no other REW site that I've seen is displaying the date.
