Is there a const effective competitor for TP's Market Snapshot?

I found that TP market snapshot could be quite vague at times when collecting comparables. What I have been doing in the past is setting up an MLS search for my past clients to automatically send them a sold listing report on the first day of every month. This is way more accurate and it's free. The only difference is that it doesn't have a chart going along with it. But the information is there for the client to view. One more thing... when I was test driving TP Marketsnapshot it wasn't offering inside pictures vs. MLS reports do have that. Just select the "CMA Client" report and it gives them everything that they need.

But I agree with Jame's comment above that maybe REW could do a much better job than TP at developing a Marketsnapshot report for us...

I looked into this product a while back but I think I did not do it because of its limitations. I wanted to use it for a specific subdivision of very high priced houses that I do a lot of business in and it did not meet the minimum address for the program. It is a tiny zip code with not many houses and I did not want to do the entire zip code, just the 250-300 addresses for this development. I think if I did the whole zip code it may have qualified and/or I think I need 600? I really can't recall but it wouldn't work for my needs. Then I recall that they MUST got online and no phone # to contact you (I could be wrong?) and other things that I think could possibly get the lead to call/contact someone else? I can't recall but I remember I thought it was total nonsense but if someone can explain the system better to me I would be interested in learning more but probably still no desire to sign up.

PS.. then there is that widget thing which I am not even talking about, just talking about the post cards they send out.

There is another product out there that we have here available to all Calgary Real Estate Board members by Prospectsweb.com Pretty much the same set up but with no $99 a month fee.
