I see no difference between dofollow/nofollow links in Google SE.

As we know we the general people don't bother about the difference between Do-No-Follow and follow, but for webmasters and internet marketers are the two most important words. The basic difference between them is Nofollow is not a link to crawl through the search engine and Dofollow let the search engine to explore the links.

The biggest mistake you can make when starting your SEO campaign is to try and track-down DoFollow links. It is something that every webmaster does at one point or another; however, the benefit you'll get from that one DoFollow backlink vs the amount of time it took you to find it, along with the fact that there are probably hundreds of competing links on that page due to the fact that it's DoFollow, is definitely not worth it. Period.

Focus on placing/having your link placed on relevant pages with a ton of relevant content and similar outbound links as yours. That should be your main focus.

Also, SE bots are able to determine when things look out of place/unnatural because 98% of your backlinks are DoFollow.

Trust me, please... tracking down those DoFollow backlinks is not worth the effort. If you find one, go for it... but I'd be willing to bet that that page is spammed with 200 other links/webmasters looking to get some PR from that same page. Problem is, the % of PR being passed on pages like that, if any, is nothing better than 0.01%.
