Analytics unique visitors

A couple of Google Analytics questions:

1) What is a typical percentage of total visitors that would be unique or what is your percentage of total visitors??

2) My google analytics shows a total number of visitors for the month and then it has a daily graph above it. The total of the daily graph is much higher. I don't like to use my real totals because of the competition but lets say the total for the month was 900 or 30/day average avg - the graph may have an avg showing of 50/day. Which one is really the unique visitor total???

Do you guys see something similar on your Analytics??

Uniques are about 60% on 2 different sites for me. As far as the daily vs monthly thing, I didn't actually add up every day but the average looked about right.

It's the difference between unique for a day vs unique for a month - if you went unique for a year the total would be even lower.

The reason (and this is a good thing) the daily totals are higher than the monthly is because of "repeat" visitors. They aren't unique for the month when they come back multiple times, but they most certainly are unique per day each day they come back - so for instance if 10 visitors visit your site every day for the month they are only 10 unique visits but the daily sum is actually 300 for a 30 day month - make sense?
