I should be able to find this soon, but when making a website... How do you get it so links pop up a new window and/or send you to a new tab instead of making you leave the page to view.
TIA

Well solved... target="_blank"
at this page from w3schools http://www.w3schools.com/tags/att_a_target.asp you find a good explanation of the target attribute.
Be careful with opening new windows on people. It's not a very accepted practice.

I sell Houston homes and write at this blog dedicated to Real Estate Technology for agents. I originally created this Houston Real Estate site and switched to REW - awesome decision.
yeah. I was doing it for an external link that goes to another website.
But what exactly is the reason for making it open in a new window? Shouldn't it be the user's decision as to whether they want a new window or not?
