    Question IDX Snippets

Could i get a quote for the following please? I read the blog article from Gerry I believe about doing the community IDX snippets on relevant pages. Here is what I would like )after we do some Full Service SEO work by REW.

    Snippets for:
    • Corporate Owned Homes
    • Germantown Homes
    • Collierville Homes
    • Lakeland Homes
    • Bartlett Homes
    • Memphis Homes
    • Arlington Homes
    • Downtown Condos (basically 38103 zip)

If you want, you could just give me a general quote on say 10 snippets, that will give me a real good idea on what I am up against. I want to add some neighborhood pages as well and could do those in groups of ten for ease on everyone's part. No rush, I am guessing it will be a month before it makes sense to do it due to the initial full service being done on my website.

    Thanks for your time.

Ummm other than the "corporate owned" homes everything else should already be possible and hooked up in your CORE IDX. You can most certainly request those area pages (as per Gerry's post) to be developed for you, and it is actually the SEO / writing team that will create already available snippet types.

So basically you just need the 1 and that would be approx 30 mins assuming it's in the feed.

You meant snippets like this for "memphis homes" right?

Actually I was envisioning the three side by side like what is on my home page (but yes showing the listings for the proper SEO of that page).Would it be a problem to lessen the amount of properties displayed? That seems a bit much to work in to an SEO page. Is that the format typically used? Also, that snippet is displaying Germantown and Memphis listings, can we just have Germantown listings on the Germantown page, etc?

P.S. - worry about all this when you're done with your vacation -- have a good time!

Hey Ed - as Morgan said, Julie will be setting these snippets up for you, anyway - but you may want to approve the time Morgan estimated for any non-area-specific snippets, like the one for corporate owned properties.

You mentioned reducing the number of listings appearing in each snippet - Julie can modify that for you, as well.

However, if you want the 3-across appearance that appears for the featured listings on your home page, you will need a separate project - let us know if you want an estimate for that.

Yes, the snippets should only show listings from the cities they are relevant to. Not sure whether Morgan simply set that one up as a quick example, or what.

Yes, it is standard to show a lot of listings in those snippets - one reason we use the "read more" link to limit scrolling.

No need to do a special project.. Lets just limit it to five listings in the typical format.

Thanks for the help Gerry, I appreciate it.
