    Default Additional IDX Feed

    Hi,
currently we have one IDX feed on our site, www.villagegreenrealty.com, which is a feed from Ulster County MLS. We also work with Greene County MLS and I'm wondering what the cost would be for adding that additional feed and also if there are any unsavory repurcussions to adding a second feed like that.
    Thanks for your help.

    Default Re: Additional IDX Feed

    Hi Amy,

It would require an additional IDX product at the regular price for IDX. Then additional programming time depending on how you'd like it set up.

Couple things ... Would you like the listings "Co-mingled" ... meaning when you do a search you would get listings results from Both IDX feeds? Doing this is quite labor intensive and also could be not allowed by either or both MLS boards.

The other method of doing it is like on this site: http://www.newresalehomes.com/idx/ you can switch between IDX's.

I cannot think of anything that would cause unsavory repercussions for you ... However ... there are quite a few items that we need to update ( if a project went in for this ) .... so that the backend lead manager and items such as saved searches and saved favorites will still work with 2 feed.

    Thank you,
    Aaron
