removing slideshow and list of sub-pages

Not sure if this is the right place to post this -- I am starting to work on content for some existing community/subdivision pages and also want to add new ones. The problem is that before I even start, the whole screen is filled with the slideshow and then the list of all the sub-pages-- I was hoping to have the info on the specific community and then the listings appear higher up... is there a fix for this?

You might want to order a "no slideshow" button ... so you can create a page without the slideshow showing. It's not a large project - ask for an estimate in the work orders forum if you would like that as an option.

ok thanks. But it would still show all the sub pages, right?
