Default where to get IDX MLS feed in Miami?!

    Hi All,

Who can tell me which board in Miami can provide me with IDX MLS feed to integrate search on the website? All I get from my current board is a desktop application which I believe is called RETS... How can I get a raw data to fully customize my client's website? Please advice.

In florida all idx data comes from the state board floridarealtor.org. If you are a broker, and a member of a local board then you have access to download the data.

When you login there will be a link to a ftp site you can download the data. They also provide a free framed idx solution.

If you have access to a RETS feed from your board - then you have a raw data feed. What is the name of the software application you have? Are you a developer or an agent / broker?

00joe is correct that that you can get the links to download raw data from the floridarealtor.org. admin section. Additionally - the individual MLS boards usually offer a feed which will usually have more data fields than the feed from FAR.

    Thank you for your posts.

We've explored both - RETS from RAMB and dowloading ftp from FAR website. However isn't there a way to have a "live" access and not download it manually everyday for an update? I believe I saw couple miami websites (such as bestofluxuryrealty dot com) that have that kind of access...

Does anybody know where to get it???

Julia, that type of access doesn't exist from the MLSs. Whether IDX or RETS you will need a program that will download the data and convert it to a usable format so that the listings can be searched and displayed on your website. You can develop the programs needed yourself or hire a 3rd party to do it for you.

Send me a pvt msg if you would like further information regarding the process.
