If you've ever watched "The Office," maybe you've seen the character, "Bob Vance, Vance Refrigeration." Funny character that makes you laugh because he says his name with his company every time he meets anyone. very funny because of how annoying it is when people seem to be selling themselves instead of being your friend.

i guess he would be the extreme opposite of the 'swap and drop' method in this thread.

great ideas, great simple concept. thanks for the post.

Thanks for the post Sean. I can see how this would work if you were consistent with it. Sometimes we get lazy and get away from working our database. I know I have. This is a good reminder.

If anyone reading this thread wants to see how easy it is to set up a contact manager and send these cards with the click of a mouse I've set up a link to allow all of you to send a couple free cards.

Once you see how easy this is you can have all your agents use the service. This way they cannot say it is too difficult.

And yes, I do earn a commission if someone implements the service. I do want to make that clear so I don't come off as some spam artist.

    Sean,

I completely agree with everything you've said from up above. I can guarantee you've read one of the greatest book on earth. How to win friends and influence people.

Now I implement this same process on facebook as well as in person. I get a lot of referrals and never talk about my real estate business. But i'm extremely social on facebook.

It works and it's really that simple without a doubt. We all get into traps of over complicating this business.
