    Default changing the domain name

    I am changing www.stlawrenceproperties.net to SLPNYCT.com

How do we do that so I don't loose ranking with the old when its converted to the new?

FYI: Its ready to go so let me know what you need me to do.

    Hi Larry,

    A few things.

    1) Changing the domain name of your website requires a work order. Usually it will fit into a 1hr project.

    2) You will need to check with your MLS board to see if they need to "approve" the domain name for IDX display.

    3) We can do a 301 redirect ( during the 1hr project ) from old domain to new domain. We do not provide SEO advice in support so we cannot say if the site will loose any rankings.
