    Default Customer Personas

    Hi guys,

I was interested in learning which customer persona you find yourself developing your content for, which do you seem to convert easier/more difficult or do you focus on any period?

In my particular case, I do not have any historical data to analyze. (I am several months into my five year plan)

I am learning quite a bit just by participating in this forum. Which I am thankful for by the way...

    Any feedback is appreciated.

    Thank you.

I try and develop content that is applicable across the board. But I guess it would make sense to appeal to certain types of consumers on subpages (suburbs vs condos)

    Hi escapeso,

I wasn't sure if others considered this to be of value or not, or if they had tried it yet. Thank you for your input I appreciate it.

Another great way to test personas would be through SEM campaigns. Has anyone traveled down this particular path as of yet?

    Thank you,

When you say "Personas" do you mean behavior/personality tests, etc?

If so, the DISC profile is a good one to familiarize yourself with.

I write like I write on my blog. I guess trying to attract the most people possible, so I try not to bee very dramatic or limiting. I do like analyzing numbers, so I will do that every now and then.

    Hello Steve,

Yes, I was referring to personality types. Thank you for your DISC profile suggestion. I believe that there is great potential in developing campaigns which are segmented via personas... If developed properly (proposition testing included), this approach could increase conversions dramatically.

    Just my opinion...
