Frequency Drop Down To Calendar

I would like to add a frequency drop down menu to the calendar with the following fields:
Daily,
Weekly
Monthly
Annually

For example if I was to put in an event lets say a webinar for this thursday I could click on the frequency drop down menu and have the system remind me weekly if I choose to do so, or yearly on that date if I choose Yearly. Let me know if you have any questions.

We'd need to have a start and end date for the events. But should be able to accomplish this in about 5-6hrs programming.

Tell me more about what you mean by a start and end date? I want to be able to set a reminder that it's Joe Smiths birthday on February 11, 2009 and then I want to be able to select a frequency of every year on February 11 to remind me that it's Joe Smith's Birthday.

Also do the reminders on the calendar have the capability to email me the reminder to my email address? I may want a work order for this if it's not already done

The start and end date would be now - It would be better for the programming logic if it had an end date - just because that's how the current system is set up - however - we'll attempt to do it without one ( just might take a bit more time. ) The 5-6 estimate still holds.

As far as the reminders. If you have reminders set up they should email you.
