    Default Directory Maximizer Service Review

I wanted to get everyone's thoughts on this service. They seem pretty reputable and have one solid outside review:

    seoabc . net/seo-reviews/build-links-fast-with-directory-maximizer

There's a few other reviews that vouch for it as well, but this is the most authoritative.

I understand the entire, if you submit to too many places too quickly you'll get knocked on if your site is too new. I'm not worried about that one yet, I'm more concerned about just using them period.

For those who don't know what this is you can check out the service here:

Boy it sure sounds good, that is some mind-numbing work there. Try it and let us know if your site disappears.

Edit: to add something helpful I think quality directories are a good deal but I would want to go thru most of that list to make sure I'm not getting tied up with a bad neighborhood, lots of PR0 directories on that list...

I dunno man, I am looking at this list a little more and there are a lot of sites I wouldn't even want to visit just from the domain names ixwz dot com, izwd, izwe, etc. Lots of junk in there with the good ones. Think I will stick to doing them manually until I am cross-eyed.

I agree with Brian because you can keep some sort of quality control. I also like to go with quality over quantity and check out some of the more juicy real estate dirs. You also can't go wrong with the combo of botw.org/business.com/yahoo dir.

I wanted to try them in the past but their list is awfull! only a few quality directories. I will be happy to pay every cent to them if they could add my websites in the top most quality list of directories.

Directories are great to help in site rankings when they have some page rank and authority. However, I would NEVER submit my site to a directory distribution network that places my link on a thousand websites overnight...it is a recipe for disaster.

I'd save your money & put it into Yahoo, BOTW.org, Business.com, and/or DMOZ.

Any one of those would be as valuable as all of the other free directories combined (literally). Reverse engineer any realtor site that owns their niche & one or two of those directories are listed among their backlinks (thousands of junk directories aren't).

Thanks guys for your feedback. I've since not signed up with any of these systems per the recommendations from you guys and SEOBook.

We're personally going the direction of hiring article creators and those who will submit to article directories for us for medium level quality instead of these link directories.

    Hello,

Not sure if you have used Directory Optimizer yet but I think it's too expensive. They charge .14 per submission and I pay less than .05 per submission (and they are all MANUAL submissions).

    All the best!

Manual submissions are the best way to gain backlinks but I think .05 is very unfair to some providers.
