    Default Adobe Illustrator

Anyone use Adobe Illustrator? I just got the program on a trial. Talk about learning curve! I picked up Publisher in under an hour, this one is going to take a bit more time.

I use it, but only because I work as a professional web designer. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone who doesn't do graphic design for a living. If I knew what you were using it for, I might be able to recommend a simpler, cheaper program.

    Larry,

Try Lynda.com and browse through their tutorials. Not sure how much value their free Illustrator tuts provide, but a subscription is well worth it if you intend to invest in the software.

    Hope this helps...

I got it to design some ads on my car. It has my car to scale and the printer can cut vinyl from it. I though it would be quicker if I just got it and messed around with it for a bit, but looks like its going to take a whole lot more than I thought.

For the record, the sing shop does not want to be involved in the design of what I am doing.

I order some tutorials from a company called WebGuru on ebay a year or so ago. They were very helpful in getting started but it is still a challenging program. Much more difficult than Publisher.
