Properties Snippet on home page

How do I add a properties snippet on my home page? I put the snippet #allhomes# after #content-homepage# and the properties were not aligned in the center properly. I tried to add a property snippet in the #content-homepage# snippet but that did not work. I am looking to add some properties for sale in the body of the content.
