I feel for you! It is like a kick in the gut when someone does this to you

If you are in the business very long ... this will happen to you over and over. As was said, you will probably do this to other people as well and they will sometimes call you and be mad with you.

It is just part of our business and the best way to overcome it is to get 2 more clients to replace the one you lost.

The same thing happened to me this weekend. I got a call from the referring lender. He was upset that his client worked with me for 6 weeks and then put in an offer with someone else. Much smaller deal but the time and energy lost!
