RU Visitors

My stats indicate that my second largest pool of visitors to my website comes from Russia. I have yet to receive an inquiry from anyone from there.

Are the IP's listed accurately as to there origin. Is there any legit reason I have so many visitors from RU?

While there are legit reasons for investor to be looking at your site from Russia, there are also many illegit reasons from them to be visiting. I would let your site host know about the traffic and have them look around the back end.

No, there is no legit reason. They are probably just spam bots. I really hate this kind of thing because it ruins traffic reports >.<

Kind of what I thought... just bots of some kind or another.

Yeah, one of my websites gets 50% of its page views from Russia. Should I just block IP's assigned to Russia at the firewall or just ignore it in the logs?

I am getting several a week registering to my blog. I don't think we have the ability to custom block an IP. Anyone know if that is a custom feature or how that would be done?
