Greetings colleagues:

Before my 20 years in real estate I spent 15 years plus in the computer science field. I've beta tested software for companies, worked for software development companies and have a vast knowledge of computer software and applications. I wanted to share this with everyone.

I have used all types of anti-virus software. One thing I found if you have a free version you are not getting 100% protection of your computer. I was using Norton before Symantec purchased it from Peter Norton and have used several others over the years.

About 4 years ago I came across and evaluated a product called NOD32. This anti-virus software is nothing but AWESOME. I won't get to detailed with everyone but it uses a "thread-sense" technology and uses very little system resources. It also updates daily if not more frequently.

It increased the speed of my computer, 10-fold and is by far the best anti-virus software on the market. It's not sold in stores and was developed by ESET Corporation.

H don't know about the speed thing but I have to agree with the protection that Nod32 gives. Light on the machine but really very good. Most of other antis r heavy on the machine, hang, lag restart and all sort of problems. Try Nod
