Can basic IDX be customized?

Not at all actually - the basic IDX service is simply an iframable product from your MLS board - if you want something more robust you need to either go to a third party (who can explain to you the customizable options they may or may not have) or go completely custom (which means getting a raw data feed, and requires SIGNIFICANT programming and design time)

Thanks. Maybe you can suggest something...I would like a search feature on my site(s) for leads and then capture them after they review a couple properties. On my end I would like to be able to see what they viewed and saved. If you are familiar with Realty Generator and Boomtown, I have used both of them and would like something similiar with IDX but can't afford anything very expensive. Thanks.
