Default What is your preferred method for producing a flyer?

I'm interviewing a new agent next week who wants to know the one thing I haven't thought about since launching my own firm: what do you use to produce the property flyers you put at your listings, in the brochure box, at your open houses, etc. We had a program for this at my old broker but since I started doing more online marketing than off, I haven't bothered looking into a replacement system. In talking to a few other indies (independent brokers) it's been suggested I use special software or vflyer.com. I'm wondering what to recommend to the prospective new agent as she is getting the flyer generating software for free at the moment (she's also paying for a lot of stuff she doesn't use but that's another discussion). I was also wondering if it would be worth it to build the functionality to produce a flyer into my site so that we don't have to key in any data and all the changes will be there if we update something on the MLS. I realize this would be pricey but would it be worth it in terms of the time saved? Also, presumably all my branding would be consistent whereas this may be tougher to pull off with Publisher or vflyer. Thanks in advance for sharing your thoughts.

I found this great website that has flyer creator software for $9.95. I wish I would have found this website when I was starting out, would have saved lots of money doing it myself. Check it out, you won't be sorry. Just copy and paste into your web browser. Sorry, I don't have a short web address. Hope this helps all of you wanting to save some money!!!

WOW. Looks feature-rich, is cheap as chips, and offers a 60 day money back guarantee. How could I go wrong?!

Only two posts, both of which are canned, AND contain your affiliate link.
Seems a bit "spammy". The short URL is easily obtainable...

No doubt it's a bit spammy but I for one am grateful to hear about this company. I too noticed only 2 links etc. But the company is brand new so they're probably just trying to get the word out about their product. I checked them out & although I haven't tried the product yet, it looks very promising. A good flyer is the only thing I haven't had the easiest time replicating since going solo. Speed is key & until now that's a tough part of the equation if relying on Powerpoint, Word, etc.

We use publisher for our flyers. The flyer templates on the link seem to be color dependent. We don't make color flyers for everything. We feel like it is a waste in a lot of cases.

You bring up a great point about the colors. We just had a broker in Minnesota ask us to do some custom flyers for his agents using his company color scheme.

It seems like brokers are looking for a quick and easy flyer solution for their agents (like our pdf templates) but with designs that are branded specifically for their company.

Would it make sense to offer a custom branded template design service? So an agent or broker can give us a call and we will design some flyer templates for them that they can re-use and distribute for their agents to use.

If so, what price do you think would work?

If you have any other ideas of how we could improve the flyer packages, feel free to fire away.

    Thanks,

    Rey

A package of 5 custom flyer templates for, say, $25, would be a great start. I'd also like a custom newsletter template. I'm way behind on putting that out every month!

    I have used www.eliteimage.ca.
I haven't had any problems at all and they got my materials up within 3 days. I change my feature sheets and just listed cards and my branding stays the same.

affordable and quick. Hope that helps. Good Luck!

Thanks. My first try was a false start. This looks more promising for what I need.
