IDX site server checker?

I subscribe to an IDX service that I like, when it works. The problem is that it seems to go down often. Is there any kind of service that I can sign up for that will check this service every half hour or so and notify me when it is down?

You could try something like www.internetseer.com to monitor the server. It periodically checks the server and sends out an email if it's down. I believe other services can even page you remotely if there is a problem.
