    Default Auto Saved Search A.I.

Is there a way to create an automatic search for visitors after say the 20th home they look at that basically takes an average price range of what they are looking at and automatically creates the saved search... i'm thinking just by price at first and if they want it tweaked they (visitor) can do it themselves OR they could simply reply (which is what we're after)... Kinda like Amazon does with their "based on what you've been looking at here is some other books you might look at"

CMS2.5 already has the automatic search feature that saves a search after 20 property views that sends daily updates based on the algorythym of the viewed properties. It saves the search in their control panel where they can modify it or you can in the CMS system.

It's actually not a feature of CMS 2.5 it's a feature of the control panel (which you should have already buddy) - BTW a huge shout out goes to Drew (OCTEAM Above) for stepping up to be my beta tester and helping me with tons of input and feedback on how the thing should work.

    What it does is this
IF your user doesn't already have a saved search (because if they knew how to use it, no need)
IF they have looked at least 20 properties (this is a minimum but users reach it very fast)
AND IF - they have not opted out of receiving automatic emails in yours system.

THEN - the cron will run a series of calculations targetted towards generating an intelligent saved search that takes into account their average pricerange - main areas of interest, main property types of interest (and beds and baths I think)

So the answer is yes - if course it can be done - it's been a standard product at REW for like a year now and comes with all LEC's standard.

Again - it has nothing to do with 2.5 - is there a switch? No - but if you feel it is not working, you may ask support to investigate by posting in the bug reporting forums.

Before that happens though - you might want to verify that it is indeed not working - can you PM me your backend user / pass I am at home right now?
    thanks

Yeah - I checked it out for you and I see a bunch of leads with "Auto Generated searches" ... I also checked the logs and it shows that your site is sending out a TON of saved search emails - so seems all good.

    Thank you,
