    Cool Capturing Anonomous IDX leads

I saw this out on AG. Although I am a true-blue REW fan, I must admit some of this IDX, right out of the box is pretty cool. Watch these videos.

Do the LEC's offer this? I am still on a template site.

That is interesting. Having the phone number is essential to my lead conversion but I can see this being useful to someone who would prefer to soft sell. As more search options are available to consumers, it will get harder to get contact info. When that happens, something like this would be essential.

Has to be cookie, but it seems like this could disrupt things as the average user would not realize that is how you are tracking them and might therefore be using multiple computers.

Kind of confused why these people give away all their info on their IDX. Seems to be asking for someone to one up you.

I don't find this so impressive. I get it but I'm sure REW could do something like that pretty easily. I don't see how that beats what REW has to offer.

It's just a different gimmick - we force registration (or at least heavily advocate it) - give value to get value - as opposed to their system where it basically forces the Realtor to be the "forced" registration (although it's not forced actually, it's just trying to co-erce) - imagine this - you are one of my higher traffic SEO customers with 20-40 leads a day coming into your lead management system (new leads) and hundreds returning each day - are you seriously going to go through each of those leads and manually review what they are looking at etc (to try to guess which ones are really interested) and then pop them a personalized message? That's just the registered users - imagine if it was ALL traffic for that day (most traffic looks at listings) we are talking hundreds of anonymous users (per day) on an average well ranked REW site (I even have some customers in the 1000+ range of daily unique visitors) - there is just no way.

I can see how it appeals to someone if they barely have any traffic though make the most of every visitor kind of thing - but once you have volume it is just absolutely unrealistic.
Starting LEC 7 soon but it won't be called LEC 7 - LEC 2012 coming soon!

I would agree with webmaster on this 100%...management of all of those anonymous leads with a site that is cranking leads every day is unrealistic,

My own opinion goes a little further....I actually think that some of these folks use these techniques to make the few leads that they are getting seem like more.

I can think of quite a few of Morgan's SEO customers that are getting enough leads from his work that handling this would be simply a distraction...

    Just my 2 cents
