    Default MLS question

Does being a member of NAR provide access to the MLS outside of your local area.
For example, I am in Dallas so could I also develop a website in Denver with custom IDX for referrals?

absolutely not - you must be a member of the local board and have an IDX data licensing agreement in place in order to access region IDX data.

So for example in your Denver scenario you would have to be a broker associate in "Metrolist Co" - and have your managing broker (also a member of metrolist) sign your data access agreement.

then you pay a bunch of fees to have access to their system, data etc
