    Default Listing Status for NWMLS

    2 issues:
1: I noticed my site brett sells houses, is pulling sold and active listings on the home search.

I just checked in Fife and found several sold listings mixed in with actives.

As there is no way for a user to select whether they want to see active, pending or sold homes on the idx, I'd like remove the sold listings from the search results.

2: Doesn't the NWMLS require that Active, Pending inspection/pending back up requested/pending and sold homes show their status in a contrasting color? Thought I read that somewhere.

    On the mls it's
    Active-Green
    Pendings-Orange
    Sold-Red

    Hi Brett,

There shouldn't be any sold listings. We'll check that out and remove them as soon as possible. I don't think they require different colours for the listing status types. Certainly would be a 'cool' feature - but it's not required.

I do know they require that the status be shown on the listing. Which we appear to have on the details page.

Thanks Aaron, The site is starting to generate some traffic. With that comes more interest from the competition. Just want to make sure all my ducks are in a row.

All Fixed up. You should have no more sold listings showing up.
