Face book is really famous social networking today.Agree? It has so many ways to advertise your service and meet people in related niche. Real Estate Properties are up there so many real estate agents are using it now. If your not you might left behind.

Well, i agree with you. But not only Facebook is famous, we do have some other sites in which we can bookmark and share it to other users through communities and discussions.
Generally Facebook tops the list, but i just wanted to say that there are other good sites to promote out site.

Personally, I'm not really impressed with facebook. I get email links all the time to join a group or add a friend and the link doesn't work. No, it's not me that's causing it not to work. I've had an account for a long time and still can't figure out a lot of it. On a business level I much prefer LinkedIn over facebook or AR.

I agree with you rbrown. Facebook is one of the best social networking site on the internet. You get to know people, know their ideas or news. It would be a great way to communicate to other people and get updated with current events relating to what you do.

Yes,I agree. It has over 300 million active users so it is
more appropriate to be on a social media with many active users
to better promote your site. Facebook fan page would do great.
And it is mostly used in internet marketing, and it is all about
relationship with the people on facebook.

Facebook really works, most especially when you have your target people, i usually join real estate groups and create mine, i also have my fan page so anyone can join me, i dont think it's enough to market, although myspace really works too. as well as twitter.

But there's more thing to do.

Besides of facebook I think twitter is also an effective way of marketing ones site as long as you have followers you can tweet something about your site.

We use facebook mostly for the social aspect and not business but we are trying to learn to use it more for business. I see some people use it very effectively for business. A local photographer posts photo shoots on FB.. very effective in my opinion.
