Multiple Platforms Or Focus On One?

I am doing all of my SEO, and of course blogging and articles are probably the best way to get backlinks to your websites, but should I be using multiple platforms? For example I use: real estate webmasters, activerain, zipvo, realtown, my own wordpress blog I have two, and a couple others.

So here's my question, is it better to use all the platforms I can to build a more diverse link portfolio back to my website from all of these free blogging and article platforms? Or should I just focus on my wordpress blog and one article submitter, and try to increase it's page rank so the links from it pass more weight? Or should I continue to do both?

What does everyone else here do?

Logan, I would love to see some of your blogs, so feel free to PM me.

And initially, I was trying a multiple-blogs approach but now I will focus more on my own blog, hopefully build a better following, and update more often than would be possible across multiple platforms.

I realize your post is a few months old but would love to hear an update as to what direction you have taken.

Lisa, anyone can find your blogs by just putting your name in the G address bar, or go to G profiles. If they want to find you, they will. In fact, you you have serious competitors, they have probably already done that.
