For DC LEC 3, I added one of my existing snippets to a blog post. It didn't render any results. Is something broken between site and blog or is this just not a supported capability of blogging platform?

The blog does not support snippets. It can be made to accept "simple" snippets rather simply. However, things like IDX snippets and contact forms will take more time. IDX snippets might not really work, especially with the price range links.
