just check my Link popularity and MSN shows only 9 for my site ..lol
down from a few few thousand..

BTW : I didn't know Google get's a lot of it's search from AOL users, so
if HILL-BILLY gates gets his way, MSN will be new king of the road?
worth looking at buying a few thousand of MSN stocks...

I don't know what happened my BL have gone down a little, but my home page is not ranking in MSN at all. I went from #1 two days ago to having my home page not ranked, but other pages of my site are still ranking. I recently changed some of the wording on my home page but that's it I don't think that could have done anything. Any Ideas?

SoCal Homes Team, the same thing happened to me. Last weekend my site San Diego Real Estate Homes for Sale | San Diego Mortgage Broker Home Loan Equity Refinance was raked 6th for the keyword San Diego Mortgage and 3rd for San Diego Mortgage Broker. Since Monday my home page is not even indexed anymore, although almost half of the other pages from the site are indexed and cashed.
Anyone has any information on what is going on? Does MSN have a sandbox that comes to life after your site is ranked in its first page for almost a month???
Should I email MSN asking why my homepage is no longer indexed? Your input is appreciated!
    Thank you!

The same thing happened to me and I would really appreciate it if you would let me know what you find out. My site www.enjoypganational.com has been one of the top three on msn for the past few months (keywords: PGA National Real Estate)... and now it is nowhere to be found.

I don't mean to sound ignorant b/c I am fairly new at this, but it looks like my homepage is no longer cached by msn but the other pages from the site are. If there is something I am missing please feel free to let me know. I would greatly appreciate it.

it looks cached to me. but i guess thats different than being indexed, assuming it is i would also assume its indexed.

your also #1 for PGA National Real Estate

just thought i'd let you know.

so what is the difference between indexed & cached?

Indexed, means the SE is aware of the URL and has it in their database, cached means they have a snapshot of the page saved, not just the URL. If a page is indexed but not cached, you wont see a title and description, just a supplemental page URL

Not a 100% true. If you tell the SE's to not cache your pages it will have no effect on your ranking or make your pages show up as supplemental plus you will still have a title and description. See the search for NY Times on Google. Notice they are not listed as a supplemental result yet they are not cached. Let's not forget they are a PR10 so we know that a site that isn't cached can get PR. They also have a title and description in the search results.

This isn't that uncommon, any site that feels that G storing and displaying their content is a copyright violation will have their site set up like this. There are other reasons to not let the SE's cache your site but the important point is that you need to look at why a page isn't cached before making assuming that it is a problem.

Thank you for your feedback, Tom. I don't know what happened. It was gone and now its back. It was gone from the msn search results for a few days but it has reappeared. I hope that is the case with your site as well, that it has reappeared. Have a good day.

MSN fluctuates often with highly competitive keywords/ content areas.

    That's my experience.
Search Homes for Sale in SAN DIEGO and other San Diego Real Estate via the San Diego MLS.
