PR and backlink update started

I'm getting hammered on backlinks, but no change in PR... anywhere (quite different).

Well, I got shafted on a lot of stuff, PR (no change), BLs only a couple more (should have been close to 60+ from different sites more), and STILL not even showing up in the serps...

Also, I linked to another one of my sites to see if it could spare some pr and nothing... it's still a O and same with my internal links... no pr to my new pages.... I'm going to have to call the guys at G and ask it their "PR-ometer" is working.


This is embarassing.... lol

I guess I can complain all day or I could just get back to work in hopes of "better luck next time!"

I can't wait to hear from others here!..

Your 2nd URL has only one link and that from a PR0 page

I will trade a link from 2 sites with your 1st site.

Well yeah, the first page is my main site. The second page is being built behind the scenes with that front page up as a "holder". I don't trade links for that one yet becuase currently, it is prety much worthless for others. (although it is indexed in g).
I'd love to trade links with you Patti. I have a Add_url page if you'd like to place your info there I'll add your link(to my first site).

VRI, same with me, no PR change just a ton of BL's being validated. For some reason even those from pages with PR3-

Unfortunately it has never been so in the past... but we can always hope it'll be a new thing.

I haven't seen any pages with updated PR or backlinks.

There has been an update to how google is reporting backlinks, but I don't see any new backlinks being shown.

This is not a typical backlink/PR update.

VRI: I just saw that was a new thread in a random seo forum I bounced through while seaching G for "PR update 07/17/04" So I was hoping it might be true cause I didn't get what I wanted for Christmas from SantaGoogle. But Thanks for the opinion!

So here is another question for any SEO minded webmaster. If the PR/BL update Did in fact happen today (I noticed my BLs did but no pr ) WHEN did it base it's decsion on the links/pr/and my site? I added a few pages and expected them to be passed a bit of PR, yet I think I added them to late . They are indexed, yet added within the last week (I think 6-8 days ago), So.... Does G look earlier at the sites to form it's opnion then I think it does?

If anyone understands what I a trying to say...lol.can they answer my question - I'll accept any responce. Thanks!
