    Default Question for realtors LOOK!

Im going to be starting a realtor directory, similar to www*relo-experts*com. for the sake of argument, lets say you decide to select the reciprocal linking option, and you decide you want your link in the Arizona catagory.

Ok, my question for you is would you be willing to link back to the directory on the main page of your state, instead of the homepage of the directory? With
the anchor text '[state] real estate'. keep in mind, the link would NOT have to be on your homepage or anything like that just a page that is indexed in google ( and hopefully with a little pr ).

Please answer if you read this i want to get as much feedback as possible,
tell me why you wouldnt want to if you wouldnt. To recap, you get a link on arizona (for example), and then you give a link back to the directory
    on the arizona page.

I would, sure, why not? But that means (all othere things equal) my California page would only get the PR of the agents on there, my competiton... which might not be so bad, but what about the poor folks in say.... alaska where there might not be as many RE links... a LOT less pr....

But who needs pr anyhow. I need traffic, traggeted traffic...
    Link me up!

Well about the states with less realtors, well i think they will be doing better, my target pr for the homepage is 7, and i hope the state pages ( the first level ) will have a six, so they will benifit the most , imo. 7 is just my target i dont know that i can get that high.

i just wanted to add, im not going to make this live with a pr0, when i get strong pr, then i will be seeking to fill out the directory, so the link will be good at the start

I can't see any reason not to do that. As a matter of fact, It's my understanding that you wouldn't want ALL of your backlinks pointing to one page [Directory Homepage].

I wanted to try to rank for the keywords '[state] real estate' to make this directory a really valuble asset to all realtors. And thats why i want to spread out the links. A link from a arizona (example) site to my arizona page is the most on theme, valuble link i could get! and in turn the realtors will be making their link on the directory more valuble.

Sure, it's how I'd prefer things anyway. I'd much rather people immediately find me on a location directory page than have them reach the home page and then have to drill down to where I'm listed.
Just one small point: Hope you'll include Canadian provinces so I can participate!
