Is it possible that I or others have seen better?

If you have, please let me know, I would love to see them. I’m not married to Smart Realty Solutions, but if someone else has products and services better, I’d love to see them. In the past 3 years, if another IDX vendor has a module or component that is slightly better than what is offered by Smart Realty Solutions, they usually offer it as a free upgrade and it leap frogs everyone else’s solutions by a year or two.

There's tons of back end controls to mange the leads, the content, the searching and display appearance, the contact form, etc. etc.

Honestly folks, I think these guys are light years ahead of everyone else. But if someone finds something better, please, please let me know.

It is not my intention to knock a particular vendor or to praise a different vendor, I made a remark that I thought the price was high and the possibility of better solutions. The "better" solution is always be in the eye of the beholder. Most Realtors contemplating an IDX solution do not realize that any field in the idx can be displayed and or searched on. Layout and design are complementary to meeting the Realtor's needs. That is why a Realtor will choose custom programming. I don't recommend IDX solutions, I coach clients in how to meet their (web development) needs. In coaching the mutual goal is the GROW model for the client to make the decision after learning about the important factors and how to weight them in relation to their needs.

Falcon Living I checked out your website. That is no VOW website. You're simply forcing people to give up their personal information before they can even see one picture of a home. What's the point? There are several 100's of websites in Chicago that allow people to search without giving up any personal information. Why would they register in yours just to see pictures of homes?

We have 2 choices in our Northern Illinois MLS. Offer IDX which requires no registration & very few listings or offer full MLS search via VOW which requires registration, per our MLS. There are other MLS's throughout the country that require registration & unless I'm missing something, any 3rd party vendor has to abide by those rules, too.

For example, my past broker offered both IDX & VOW on his site. I tried an identical search on both. The IDX provided 2 homes, the VOW had more than 10. I try to explain this to anyone using my VOW from my site.
